Picture doesn’t fill screen

Hi there. I have an issue where many of the channels on Xfinity Stream Beta App (on Samsung TV) don’t fill the screen. Most of them seem to be movie channels.

I cannot adjust 4:3/16:9/Fit to Screen settings as the Xfinity App locks this and the option is therefore ghosted in my Picture menu.

Its also nothing to do with watching SD/HD channels as the problem is the same on both from what I can tell.

Any ideas? Not much point having a big tv if the picture is boxed up in half the screen with black around it!

@user_a85d10 I have had the sane issue for a long time and was just living with it for the time being. But, today I just un-installed the app, re-installed, signed back in with my in fo and now I have full screen!

I found I had to add HD to my package (I didn't have it) for $9.99/mo to get full screen.  Once that went through the problem was solved.  It seems the app shrinks the screen for SD service.  Also, I have a grandfathered package and HD wasn't available on the website, I had to call customer service.  They didn't know about the screen size, but were able to help me add HD - that solved the problem.

This worked for me: I uninstalled/removed the app completely. Turn off/on tv.  I then installed the app again and logged in. Now i see HD channels are available, they are in the 1000 numbers and did not have them before. When i pick the HD channel (like CBS) now i get full screen without the black borders.
