Only a subset of DVR recordings shown in Xfinity Stream app
I have a number of recordings on my DVR. They all appear normally on my TV recordings list. I don’t know how many hours in total, but plenty. The list shows roughly 70% full. So far, so good.
On my Xfinity Stream app, some - but not all - of those recordings appear in the list of recordings.
Some shows list all of the recordings and that number updates regularly as new ones are recorded. The worst offender shows all (yes) 167 recordings.
There’s another show with some 40 or so on the DVR. In the app, only two recordings are listed, the two most recent.
Expecting this remedy suggestion I first tried the “Clear Device-Specific Settings option. No luck.
Similarly, I next deleted and reinstalled the app. Also nope.
I also then tried logging out and back in. There is no joy in Mudville.
Oddly - but then again maybe not - the number of recordings showing in the list is… drum roll… 200. Maybe time to remove that hard-coded constant?
What’s the secret to coaxing the Stream app into coughing up the full list of DVR recordings?
