On In Home Network - Can’t Stream

My phone is saying that I’m out of my home network and the SSID is my home network. Absurd! I then added the app to my AppleTV entered the code and I was on Xfinity Stream. So I logged in using my home network. Then it tells me I’m out of Home on the same network. This stuff is horrible. Why I am paying so much for this garbage. So many options. They’re making the decision for me. Read a bunch of posts with the same problem. How can the software not know what my home ISP is????
