No video on xfinity stream

Hello, 

I am using xfinity stream on my iPhone X with a direct wire connection (HDMI) from the iPhone to my tv. When I play a movie shown on xfinity stream to the tv, I only get Sound, no video. 
I’ve tried everything. Different cables, different HDMI connections, reinstalling xfinity stream, etc. 

Can anyone please help. Thanks.

Hello @user_1c5885! We appreciate you for posting to the Xfinity Community Forum to get help with your streaming issues. I can understand why this could be frustrating. I wanted to ask if you have ever been able to stream this way before? Have you swapped devices recently?

@XfinityChe This is a direct connection (HDMI) from my iPhone to the tv. Xfinity Stream is the only program that will not stream certain videos to the tv. It does stream the video. Note that it does this with only some movies. Other movies stream fine. For example, it will not stream the Yellowstone series videos, but I do get the sound. Why does it work with some movies and not others?

Thanks for confirming, @user_1c5885! That's a great question. Ultimately, the networks have the decision on what assets can be streamed and which cannot. I'd be happy to investigate whether or not Yellowstone is one of those assets. I can also check on others that you have problems with to confirm whether that is the issue or not. Can you send a direct message with your first and last name and service address? To send a direct message click the "Direct Messaging" chat icon in the top right corner of the page, then click on the pen and pad icon and enter "Xfinity Support" in the "To" section of the chat.

Still no video. Only sound from iPhone to TV using a direct line. Please check if the series “Yellowstone” on Peacock and Paramount + can be streamed. I get sound but no video.
