NFL RECORDINGS???

Why do the NFL playoff recordings work fine on the tv, but don’t show up on the Xfinity streaming app for the phone? All other recordings show up and work fine. Is this a NFL playoff restriction of some type?

Hello. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and I am not aware of any issue with watching recordings from your phone. Were you able to view the content on another device not apple, also away from your home network?

I have had not only football games but other programs recorded that do not show up on the app on my Apple I phone 14. These 

no-show programs do show up on the tv list of recordings. I have only had this happen in my home on my home network as this is where I mostly watch. 
About the football games, I have had some games show up and some games not show up on the phone. I currently only have a couple Apple products.

If I can, I would like to also ask for a clarification. 
Why are certain programs limited to

”in home network” only?

Maybe I am misunderstanding or is this correct.

Of course, we are here to answer your questions. 

While we’d like to make all content available to you through network streaming apps and websites, we may only do so when we have an agreement with the networks. Whenever we renew our programming agreements with TV networks, we explore the possibility of increasing accessibility through network streaming apps/websites and On Demand.

user_dc6547, I had made a missive comment explaining my past experiences as a 25+ year customer of Comcast, now dis-affectionately known Xfinity.  I had the same experience as you, and many others, no doubt.  It basically stated what this Comcast support people have contended, and a bit more with some quick test cases I ran.  I'm not going to repeat myself, because someone/thing at Comcast deleted the actual reply, as denoted by the '3' replies to this thread, with only '2' replies present.  (or actually, including this reply, '4' replies to this thread with only '3' replies viewable.  That said, it has everything to do "fine print" with Big Corporate.  Pay up, and you'll be able to stream NFL recordings.  Comcast has been duping its customers on this streaming service they offer for quite some time. I'm no lawyer, but maybe someone who is reading this is, and might care to investigate a class action lawsuit and make some coin for their effort and help us along the way.
