Live Channels not showing in Stream App

Hello,

After changing my phone, my live channels are not showing up in my Stream app any longer. I do see the channels through the web interface, and they are showing up on my wife's stream app (also on an iPhone).

Called support today, modem reboot, router cycle, app uninstall and reinstall, log-out and back in, all did nothing to fix the issue.

Can someone help me? @CCKenF it looks like you have solved this for users before 🙂

That didn't do it unfortunately 😞

Thanks for the suggestion though!

let's try a test. go to xfinity.com and sign in. select account, users, and add a new unrestricted user. use that username/password to sign in to your stream app. live channels now working?

Had an iPhone XS, which broke, got a new phone from my IT department at work (iPhone X), did a full restore, and seems like the channels are not showing up now...

I'm not an expert, but seems like the iPhoneX is not part of the list of devices that can stream live channels somehow...

iphone X/Xs and 11 are all fine with stream app. go to the phone, run the app, hit the menu icon and scroll down to sign out and log off. force close the app, press and then hold the app's icon and select remove the app. after removed shut down (not lock) your phone (iphone X press power and volume up until power off slide appears. after off for 30 seconds or more power back on and install the app and authenticate. working now?

Yeah, I did the same yesterday with L1 support, and did not help... Thanks though!

Open app, press menu, scroll down, press settings gear, scroll down, tap version number until new window opens, press reset device. You'll need to log back in after.

That actually worked! Strange to be needing a workaround like that, but I’ll take it!

since that fixed it a call to billing (800-comcast) can fix your regular id. ask them to fix the username to only point to your current account/address.
