LG G3 Evo Gallery TV - NO PICTURE After Xfinity Streaming Beta App Started Downloading

​​​​​Help!! ​​​​Xfinity Streaming Beta app ​​​​started downloading as a result of Xfinity initializing an ​​​​AUTO​​​​ “update” — I did not initiate. The logo splash screen appeared on TV, the three white dots start “dancing” and then ​​​​BANG​​​​ - my TV picture and sound disappear - BLACK screen of death.​​


I am missing ALL the NCCA Elite 8 Games and this is not acceptable.

​​I can see the TV RED Light go on/off when I press Power button on remote and same for BLUE light on Xfinity HD TV/DVR box. The TV and Xfinity boxes are Powering On/Off correctly.  Connected to WiFi Network and signal strong.​​

​​UPDATE​​​​: TWO wasted HOURS on phone w/ Xfinity Tech Support- they are trying to pass off as an LG issue: ​​​​“Call LG Product support” is all they can come up with​​​​: ​​​​Fail​​​​!​​

​​ALL was FINE until this “Beta” app started “auto downloading” - I did not want it nor had it been on TV prior— I ​​​​FOOLISHLY​​​​ pay Xfinity $195/mo for a TV and WiFi package- so why would I need or want a “streaming” Beta app on my TV?!?​​

​​My ridiculously expensive, unstable, no customer support Xfinity subscription will be coming to an immediate end.​​

​​I STILL DO NOT have a TV picture FIVE HOURS LATER.​​​​ No help to resolve. Ridiculous phone time HOLD to get connected to the clowns.​​

​​This is the last straw with Xfinity and their HORRIBLE Tech Support- the word “support” being an oxymoron.​​

​​​​​​​​​Xfinity, how do I get my TV picture back​​​​​ after your junk Beta app attempted to download on my TV ​​​​which worked perfectly until that moment??​​

​​​​​​​​​Community​​​​  - ​​​​DO​​​​ ​​​​NOT try to use Xfinity Streaming Beta ​​​​app​​​​!! This is ruining my entire weekend!​​​​​
