Hulu is no longer working through Xfinity on either of my TVs. I can enter the app but once I chose an episode I get error P-DEV310. I had to go through the TV remote (not Xfinity remote) and log into the Hulu app through that for it to work. Xfinity needs to update the app.

I spent 45 minutes on the phone with hulu customer service. It’s not a Hulu issue. I can still watch episodes from my phone on my home WiFi but not my TVs.

None of these tiresome steps work . Same smart TV can access Hulu via Samsung Hulu App -- it is an Xfinity X1 app issue that neither Xfinity or Hulu seem know how to fix. Both parties should be able to perform network diagnostics to find the issue.

Same problem with the Flex "box"--Hulu comes up fine, but I can't play anything. This has been going on for days!

I've been having the same issue with my Hulu app in the xumo stream box. I went through a whole troubleshooting session with Hulu. If it's on their side, it must be in an update they pushed to Xfinity customers. The workaround is going through Disney+. Not great, but it works. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

Hi there, @Cswslc! I am sorry to hear you are having trouble getting video to play on the Hulu app. Have you tried to clear the locally stored data on the stream box? This link shows how, https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/x1-clear-cookies-and-local-data-storage.

Same here in Pennsylvania Xfinity X1 Box Hulu loads fine but wont playback anything. Error P-DEV310. Hulu works through Disney+ though.

AI through google suggests to clear cookies and local data but all other apps work fine so I'm keeping this as a last resort if need be. Hope they get it fixed soon.

Hi there @user_0q80jm Thank you so much for reaching out on our Xfinity Community Forum.  I'll be happy to assist.

To fix the P-DEV310 error on your Xi6 Xfinity box when using the Hulu app, try the following steps:

  1. Ensure your device has an active internet connection.
  2. Restart your TV Box by unplugging it for 1-2 minutes, then plugging it back in.
  3. Close and re-open the Hulu app.
  4. If the issue persists, force-quit the app and wait two minutes before reopening it.
