How to access DVR recordings via browser on Android phone to avoid malfunctioning streaming app

My Xfinity stream app is malfunctioning as all recordings are classified as "in progress" and only available on in home wifi even though these recordings are old and not in progress.  We have kids who are away at college accessing recordings via the stream app, so only accessing these on in home wifi is not feasible. Also, the point of the app is to be able to access your recordings presumably when you're not home. They tried using xfinity.com/stream, but are railroaded to the (malfunctioning) app  and are unable to access the recordings via a phone browser (Chrome). They can see recent recordings and watch live TV through the app, just not any recordings which is very frustrating.

Does anyone know a way to avoid being forced to only use the app to stream? Is there some way to access Xfinity stream on an Android browser?

Hello @Emssodo,

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further look at this issue.

To send a "Peer to peer" ("Private") message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

@XfinityThomasB There should be a work around for accessing our DVRs on a phone browser without having to use the app since the app has been broken for nearly a week (at least).  I started a chat with another employee; however, he just says they are aware and looking into it and to check back every day.  This is not an acceptable solution.  How can a media company not fix this fatal flaw with their streaming app?!
