how do I remove GPC Signal Detected from my Xfinity Stream app?

What is a GPC signal and how do I remove it.  It appears when using Google Chrome.  It  doesn't seem to appear with other web browsers.

I've had the same problem with Chrome. I had an extension called "Privacy Badger" loaded that I disabled for the Xfinity website and the problem went away. Apparently they added new tracking on the Xfinity site and you can't block it or it breaks their site.

I have the same problem when making an online payment, not just not being able to view TV guide listings.

Someone asked "what is GPC"?  Here is a brief explanation, but doesn't list every computer configuration ..

The bottom line is comcast is not respecting your browser/add-on/etc. request to respect *your* privacy on the web.  Why would that be?  Revenue.  By messing with the site and/or rendering is unusable, they force you to use a browser (or remove add-ins) that protect your privacy.  Problem solved, for comcast.  Don't hold your breath for them to fix it.

I'm speaking to my attorney about this. Maybe a nice lawsuit against Xfinity over this will change their minds.

Signed-on this afternoon (1/24) and Brave browser is working normally again - no GPC detected image/error. Hope it's fixed permanently.

@mjh5 The image appears to be gone from www.xfinity.com/stream.  The defect is still present on this forum; there is white background the same size instead of the graphic though.  For what it's worth, I was unable to post a reply (or anything) on the forum until now.  Maybe I was blocked by the "management"?

There is a new (I think) cookie management icon that appears momentarily, goes away before you can click, and doesn't come back after reloading.  I am guessing it automagically configures your consent to who knows what in terms of cookies.
