Error TVAPP-00306 on multiple devices

Hi all,

I've tested this on my PC and my iPhone, just started today.

I try to play any recording and get the error. I'm asked if I'd prefer to watch the item On Demand, I say yes, it tells me it cannot play that either.

I've tried logging out and closing my browser to clear the cache, on my iPhone I logged out and closed the streaming app. No good. I also can't stream live TV on these devices.

Basically, the streaming service is toast.

UPDATE: Just tried something. Took my iPhone off the Xfinity wifi network, and when I'm on a cell network.... Everything works. Going to try rebooting the XFinity device next...

I'm having the same problem.  Service was fine this morning & then around noon I started getting the error messages.  I'm attempting streaming on my laptop in the Microsoft Edge browser.  I'll check to see if it works on my cell phone on cell service & on wifi.  And I'll reset the wifi router.  Have you had any luck?  Any updates?

Nope. No luck.

On the XFinity network I can't stream on any of my devices. NOW I get a DRM error "Playback Issue :: 100000" when I try to stream live TV.

On a different network, I can.

I guess I'll call their support.

Well, I rebooted my entire xfinity service: phone, wifi, cable.... no change.  Still getting this error.

Another update. While talking to support, live tv streaming started working, and on demand streaming started working.

I still can't stream recorded items on my cloud DVR, but that appears to be part of a larger outage.

My services just started back working around 8pm.  Turns out there was some sort of issue in my zip code, so I guess the Xfinity guys did their thing & got it all fixed up.  Everything seems back to normal.  I hope your issue got resolved also.
