Error TVAPP-00166

My xfinity stream app will not work on my Samsung tv. I have tried everything from system resets to deleting the app reloading it on signing in 1 million times nothing will let me access my TV whatsoever. Please help me.

Cannot log in on samsung tv, did total tv sw reset,  system is connected to router other apps work fine. What's up with the streaming app from xfinity

When is this getting fixed by xfinity ??? Horrible that it has been out this long with no communication from them

user_a5ohfi Thanks for reaching out to us today about your app not working on your TV. I would be happy to assist you in troubleshooting the problem. 

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
