error code tvapp-00101

I had one Roku TV that was having issues using the Xfinity app. After 6 1/2 hours of trying to deal with Comcast/Xfinity i am happy to announce the techician messed up a second TV that was working fine and I now have two Roku TV's that cannot connect using the Xfinity app. I keep getting the error TVAPP-00101. Is there anyone out there that can offer help other than unplugging the TV's and resetting the modem? After 6 1/2 hours and repetitive unplugging/plugging

in the past for th roku the error had to do with inability to sign in on the app. pick one of the Roku device and let's work to get that one fixed. since issue is unknown, using a smart device run the Xfinity my account app. signin and select the internet tab. from there is only one modem/gateway device listed? if only one device touch to select it and compare the serial number shown to the gateway's HFC MAC address. is it exactly the same character by character? is your gateway also your wifi source? is it an Xfinity rental gateway?

Keep in mind the only issue was with the Xfinity app on my office TV. TV box, modem, and everything else was working fine before my initial phone call. Netflix and all other apps worked on all TV's. After my initial phone call the only TV that worked was the living room TV from the cable box. From what I was told it appears the initial girl I talked with (Xfinity customer service) did some things above her abilities that messed up the system. After 3 days and many unreturned phone calls we finally got help from a tech and got the Xfinity app working on both Roku TV's but the bedroom TV still did not work. The sad thing is the bedroom TV was working fine before my initial phone call regarding my office TV.  After 5 days and several phone calls the tech (and engineers) still could not fix the Roku stick. For some reason they said it was now registering in a different state. Even reset the Roku stock to factory settings. Not sure how as I bought it brand new and used it 2 years in the same residence only. Same TV in the same room in the same house. So the Roku stick has never been anywhere else. Whatever that girl did messed up the bedroom Roku stick and resulted in me having to go buy another Roku stick. Spending another $40.
