Error API Timeout on the Tv,

API timeout error for the last couple hours. I have restarted the brand new modem i picked up on Sunday. Now it says thank you for being an xfinity customer. API timeout error occurred

Hello, @user_7l6ehp. I'm sorry to hear you're getting this error message even after resetting your modem. I appreciate you making us aware via Forums. I'd be more than happy to help figure out a solution to this problem you're experiencing.

 

When you say you've reset the modem, was that done via the Xfinity app? Have you by any chance attempted to reset the cable box? How about a power cycle, have you tried that?
