Downloaded Shows Freeze and Audio Continues on Stream App
I'm seen MANY posts about this issue and I've been having the same one for months now, but lately it seems to have gotten worse. I downloaded four shows for a flight last week and every single one of them froze, about 15 minutes in at most. So I got to watch the first 15 minutes of four shows - awesome.
Same issue that so many other posters have described. The picture freezes and the audio continues to play. I've also occasionally encountered the opposite problem, where the audio suddenly cuts out and there's no sound but the picture continues. It only happens when I've downloaded a show to my ipad and am trying to watch while I'm offline (such as on an airplane.) But it's gotten more and more frequent and I would say now it's 8 times out of 10 that I download something, this happens. I've tried all the generic Xfinity advice like uninstalling and reinstalling the app, closing and refreshing, ect... I've called customer service and allegedly they started a ticket to look into this issue, but based on how many other posters on this forum have complained about this for the last several years, and nothing has been done about it, it doesn't seem like they have really looked into it or like they actually care to fix the problem for us.
Has anyone found a solution that works yet?
