Connecting phone to a projector

Hello Generous, as far as screen mirroring goes as long as the projector supports the phone there should be no limitations casting the stream app to the projector at that point. 

I’m interested in connecting my iPhone to a projector to mirror the Xfinity Stream app. Any advice? Should it work, or are there restrictions to mirroring shows via the app?
