the chrome book will need to use the chrome browser and link https://www.xfinity.com/stream/

Not all devices are compatible with the app. So sorry! That may change in the future. Here is a link for reference for devices that work with the app for now: https://comca.st/3hvwtvs. Otherwise, please use Rustyben's suggestion and use the URL. Have a safe and happy new year!
