change the default closed caption setting when using firestick
i use xfinity streaming on a firestick. close caption is defaulted to on. i would like closed caption to be defaulted to off.
below is my hardware config. everything is up to date. this 'default' also occurs on 2 other firesticks in my home, which are 3rd generation.
any suggestions?

fire stick 2nd gen, sw ver fire OS 5.2.8.8

the answer is the default settings on the firestick. under firestick settings, accessability, there is a closed caption option to always enable closed caption if available on the streaming content. turn this off.
