Casting to Chromecast still not working
As many others have noted. We cannot cast xifinity stream from mobile device to Chromecast. The tv says ready to cast and the xifinity app say media not selected. When will this be fixed? I called tech support and they took my information. I was told I would get a call back to resolve the issue. That was 4 days ago. Is this issue permanent?

Same here. Was told issue would be resolved and someone would get back to me. I’m not holding my breath. Why doesn’t xfinity just tell the truth about what has caused the issue and when the fix is expected? Customer service 👎🏻

Hello, @user_10adbf. I completely understand your frustrations. We appreciate you for sharing here on the Xfinity Community Forum. We’re aware of an issue affecting some customers’ ability to use Xfinity Stream with Chromecast. Please know that this is not an issue with our network; our network is functioning properly at this time. But there is a technical issue with the service provider which they expect to resolve this coming Monday. We’re monitoring the situation and appreciate your understanding.
