Can't watch anything on streaming app

This has happened multiple times but doesn't usually last very long and it's been 6 months since it last happened but so far today I can't watch anything on either the streaming app on my kindle or phone and the streaming option on xfinity.com.  It shows the recordings but no picture for each recording and all I get is the repeating 3 dots.  The guide works for live tv but it won't let me watch anything live. Everything else is working: wifi, email, X1 box for the tv they are all working just fine.  I've included a couple of screenshots from the streaming on xfinity.com but it's the same thing on the app on my kindle.
