Can't View All Recorded Shows in Xfinity Stream
I am having a problem that I saw many others have had: when I log into Xfinity Stream on my laptop, I see only a fraction of the shows I have recorded in my list. I need to access a specific one today and it's not listed; however, it does show up at home on my TV/x1 box. HELP!

the home DVR has more room on it. the cloud DVR has 60 hours and removes older files from the cloud DVR only as new space for recordings is needed.

the home recorder holds more recordings. the cloud DVR currently holds only 60 hours. when the cloud DVR needs room it removes the oldest recordings. the home DVRs copies should still be available if the DVR is not too full.
edit: I combined your cross-posts with same subject to this thread.

I'm having this issue, but I don't think the explanation applies. My DVR and Xfinity Stream "saved" content are particularly empty right now. The programs that are not showing up were recorded about 4 months ago and there is older content still available through the stream.
Is there a way to force the stream service to udpate / coordinate with what is on the DVR?

when any recording is made, it is done on the home DVR (if any) and the cloud DVR. they are fully independent and do not communicate their recordings to each other. Teh cloud DVR may be more limited (150 hours) while the home DVR may hold more hours depending on the type of channel (SD/HD) and if the channnel is a local channel (mpeg2) or cable channel (mpeg4). The home DVr can play the cloud DVR if the home DVR did not record a copy of the program (example power failure, local cable problem).

Since you can't access ALL DVR content, Xfinity shouldn't indicate or advertise that you can.

the home DVR (if any) is completely separate in its recordings from the cloud DVR. your home power can be totally disconnected and still the cloud DVR (separate device) will record as normal. the cloud DVR generally holds less hours of programming than the home DVR, and as new shows are added, the older recordings fall off. Are the recordings still available on your home DVR?

I'm having the same issue. The whole point of having Xfinity STREAM is to be able to view my recordings while STREAMING. If the issue is room, how do we get more room?? I don't want my recordings deleted because STREAM is less than TV. I don't watch TV.
