Big10 Network frozen on To-Go stream

We are out of our home area for the winter trying to stream the Big10 Network on our I-phone and I-pads.  The channel is in our Available out of home (TVGO) channels.  However each of the three available channels are frozen on the same screen when we click on Watch.  It's the same frozen screen of 3 men on what looks to be an episode of BIG 10 TODAY.  We have tried again the past three days and get the same results.  Last year when we were here we had no issues streaming this channel.   Is this a BIG 10 network issue or Xfinity Streaming issue?

Good afternoon user_ctr7lz. We can certainly look into this for you. I do have a few questions to better understand the situation. Have you attempted to try and stream Big10 on a TV, or streaming device, aside from the mobile devices? If so, did the same issue occur? Have you already tried uninstalling, and re-installing the Xfinity Stream app?

In the past we have streamed on our device (I-phone and I-pad) and then used auto play to watch it on TV.  Our Vizio TV does not have the Xfinity App available so this was the only way to watch the Big Ten.  I deleted the app on my phone and reloaded it with same results.

Thank you for letting us know you did that self-troubleshooting! Are any other sports channels ( ESPN, ESPNU, SEC Network, etc.)  or any live sporting events on core channels like ABC/NBC/CBS having this same issue?

No.  I just checked all those sport channels and have no issues playing them.  We have not experienced it with any other ToGo channels either.  We have watched sport events on the core channels off our antenna.  Of note, I did record off Big10 and that has worked. We can see those recordings.  However, my husband doesn’t like watching them after the fact.

Well I can certainly appreciate that! This does sound more like a channel specific than something larger with the Stream App, especially during live sporting events or other related programming. Since the Xfinity Stream App works through both TV and internet, it may be beneficial to refresh the account using the Xfinity App(if not done so already)

We have already uninstalled the Xfinity app and reinstalled it.  Is that what you mean by refreshing it?  Yes, it is definitely limited to the one channel which is why it is so frustrating.  My hubby a big sports enthusiast wants a refund for not being able to watch his home team live.  He would even settle to watch it on his I-pad if he can’t stream it to the TV.  It doesn’t seem there is anything else we can do on this end.
