Audio issues with iOS and stream app

I have been having issues with audio cutting in and out. Spoke with a rep that stated there is an issue with iOS and the stream application. Is this being worked on?

I've been having the same issue on my iphone and ipad starting today, May 6th, and I would like an answer to this question too.

Hey there! user_vtehyv Thanks for posting on our community forums. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing a similar issue and would like to help. Is this only happening with your Apple devices? Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling the app? Is your device up to date with the latest iOS?

This problem is persistent, there are multiple Xfinity forums with the identical complaint... unfortunately the Xfinity responses appear to be very personalized, yet are identical word-for-word throughout all the forums.

Xfinity continually asks the User about their operating system updates, and if their Xfinity app has the latest updates.  This does not matter, my equipment and apps are the latest available and I still am experiencing the problem when live streaming.

As of yet, I have not experienced the problem while using the 'On Demand' service, only the live-streams.  Very annoying to say the least, and the frustration is compounded due to Xfinity's reluctance to 'own' the problem and finally fix it.  +

If there was another provider in my area, I would switch in an instant...  however since they have a 'monopoly' on cable and internet service in my area, there is absolutely no incentive whatsoever for Xfinity to live up to their end of the bargain and finally address this condition.

It's truly pathetic that the company doesn't care, and has decided to continually to ignore the needs of their customer base.

Me too. iPad and iPhone each have xfinity stream. Audio stops then starts then stops. Just started today. On all channels. And it has to be the app only because I can watch you tube videos or hbo max and sound is perfect.

user_z5gyek Do you have the latest update for the app? Are you also running into any error codes?

Sorry to hear you're running into a similar issue after the recent iOS update Eng659, and thank you for taking the time to let us know about it. Just to clarify, this issue was not happening prior on iOS 18.4.0 or earlier? Have you attempted to uninstall the Xfinity Stream app and then reinstall?

I've been researching this issue and it seems it's been going on with the stream app for a year or two. It's really insulting at this point to get "are you running the latest iOS, uninstall and reinstall the app" etc. It's the app folks, how about you get it fixed!
