Audio disappears on Xfinity streaming app

This is a strange one. While using the xfinity stream app on iPad, iPhone or PC, if a comcast commercial comes on, it kills the audio. I have to exit and reenter the app to get the audio back. It occurs whether on wireless or ethernet. What's going on?
