App not working on tv

I have had a brand new Samsung TV for about a month and up until last week I could stream the Xfinity app. My Comcast provider told me to return my cable box to save money and just stream the app and that was great. Now the app states we had a problem reaching the configuration server and it will not load even when I re-download it. All of my other apps work. When I called Comcast they don’t know about Samsung, I can’t imagine I am the only person with a Samsung TV. How do I get my app to work again

I have the same issue with my two Samsungs.  I talked to Xfinity last night and was told that they are aware of it. Looks like this happened to LG's also . If you click on one of the suggested shows floating above the Xfinity stream beta app, you might be able to sneak your way into the app.

Hi Bhakimi,

There was a recent connectivity issue to some of the services required for the app launch and sign in process on our Smart TV platforms.  A fix was deployed this morning which should have cleared it up.  Can you please try again, and send me a direct message if you are still encountering issues?  Sorry for the inconvenience, and happy streaming!

This app has worked great for me since March, except for the need to occasionally reinstall. Today it stopped and I’ve reinstalled, deleted and installed and nothing is working. It’s frozen on the “xfinity stream beta” screen no matter what I do!

uninstall the app. unplug the TV for 3+ minutes. plug back in and  reinstall app. sign in and carefully accept the terms and conditions of using the app as you sign in. working?

I have two different Samsung TVs, a 65” curved screen in the living room and a standard 42” in the bedroom. Both have the Xfinity Stream app, and both stopped working yesterday. I figured I’d give it a day before contacting Comcast, but it still isn’t working.
