App Error TVAPP-00166

I was booted out of my Xfinity streaming app on my Samsung TV.  When I tried to get back on the app, I received Error TVAPP-00166.  I uninstalled the app, and reinstalled.  I receive the same error each time I try to get into the app.  I have had A LOT of problems with the Xfinity app, I have reported it several times to the FCC for assistance since Xfinity support does not respond to has not resolution.  So, the only way to get a response is to escalate it to the FCC.  Can someone from Xfinity support get this fixed, or do I need to open another complaint with the FCC in order to get assistance?

Same issue here in MN, error of TVAPP - 00166 trying to log into Xfinity Stream app, 2 days now.  Customer service chat bot said ticket would be opened, twice now, and nothing.  Authorization shows successful on my phone, but TV does not refresh.  App works on my iPad. YES tried uninstalling and reinstalling, powering down, waiting etc. etc. etc.  So, tired of this, especially for how expensive it is.

@user_7br2nx​ listen folks, xfinity can’t seem to get their act together however I believe that if you are trying to use the barcode on the TV to get access, you will continue to have this issue. What I learned that will work is manual access it through a different website, other than Google. Use Safari, Firefox, etc. Then go to the xfinity.com/activate and enter the codes Manually. That should get you access into the Xfinity stream app. At least it worked for me.

I have Samsung Frames and Samsung Neo TVs. This is not working for me either.  Can't watch the NBA playoffs except on my phone this [Edited: Language]
