Android Tablet Samsung S7 - continually pausing during show streaming

I have the EXACT same problem as described with this forum and I have had it for many months now. My tablet continually and excessively pauses while watching programs like CNN, MSNBC, Sports using the xFinity Streaming App - it does not matter what I am watching, they all pause for at times it seems like a few seconds to a minute or two before replaying and where the content it missed is now that, missed. In fact, I purchased a new Samsung S7 tablet several months ago thinking that it was my older Samsung tablet causing the problem and I have the same problem. I have performed all of the remedial tasks as recommended before - I have forced stop, cleared the data, cleared the cache, deinstalled and reinstalled the app, rebooted the tablet.  We did a side by side comparison between my wife's new Apple iPad and my new Samsung Android tablet and my Samsung pauses all the time and hers never pauses while watching the same show/channel on our two tablets at the same time.  We have placed my Samsung tablet right next to the Xfinity router and I still have the same problem of pausing all the time. These problems are effectively making the Stream application useless and I would like a specific fix recommended to what is a really annoying problem.  I have already invested too much time trying to make this apparently buggy application work on a mainstream, newer, Android tablet. Thank you.

@user_4f38b3 Thank you for reaching out to the Digital Care Team. if you are experience an issue with one device in particular, it is the device itself. It may not be compatible. This can be based on type of device, software version, etc. If it was a Xfinity related issue, all devices in the home would be affected. Here is more information: https://comca.st/3vGwqFM;

@XfinityHeather​ Respectfully, I disagree with your diagnosis.  I am not sure how you can suggest that a Android tablet as mainstream as a Samsung S7 Tablet would be the cause of Xfinity's streaming service not functioning. I would ask that you focus more on a remedy instead of trying to bury this problem with me.  Stream was working perfectly fine for years on an older tablet, and then it wasn't (where is the compatibility issue with that as I never upgraded the tablet) and then I replaced that old tablet with a new Samsung S7 model and it still doesn't work properly - the stream continually pauses, buffers, stops over and over again - as described exactly by another customer.  I need a solution and not a shovel full of dirt thrown on the problem.  Thank you.

@user_4f38b3 It is never out intention to bury an issue. However, if it was Xfinity Stream it would affect all devices using it. We are happy to look into this issue further for you. What is the software version of your S7 Tablet?
