XM dual esim support

Now XM supports esim.  Can I have two XM mobile lines using esim on a single phone now with iphone 14?

YES, technically as the XM eSIM is not CDMA. And, both would have to be XM lines for now as your new iPhone 14 is locked to XM for a minimum of 60 days. To add other carriers your phone is eligible to be unlocked after 60 days if you paid in full, otherwise it can be unlocked after you have paid off your payment plan.

However, we don’t know if or when XM will have it’s in store representatives trained to do this. Eventually they should have an XM App ability to add (or transfer) a new eSIM. Don’t hold your breath!

It’s fairly straight forward to do. Go to the XM website, go to add a line, then ‘Bring your own device’ and enter your IMEI 2 number (your primary should be linked to your main number on the iPhone 14), then choose to get a new number or port the one you want in. Add to cart and checkout.

@jslx1985 Have you tried this yourself? Can you confirm that the SIM lock doesn’t affect the ability to use the second eSIM/IMEI?

Hi,

Any luck, @Swcoop1?

I was told yesterday by Tier 2/Advanced Support that, for now, with an iPhone, 14 two lines can be put on, but only one can be active at a time. So you have to toggle between them and choose one or the other instead of having full functionality for both. when you're using one line, the other can't be accessed, no calls will ring in, etc. this obviously isn't acceptable if you need two active lines. I would wanna pay for another line if it weren't needed? (Rhetorical.)

supposedly, Xfinity hopes to have this problem addressed by the middle of this year.

Thanks.
