WiFi profile management has been disabled.
as seen in this thread: https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/xfinity-mobile/wifi-profile-mangement-has-been-disabled/61326e378ea20f79f83ec854
So as a fun project I decided if I could see if I could debug this issue as its been plaguing me since last year. I was able to reverse engineer the app and see that theyre pulling a profile from https://cdn.connectionassist.com thats supressing the xfinity/verizon APN with the MCCMNC 311480. So anyone connected to that APN is going to get the wifi profiles disabled message. I tried leaving a review on the app AND contacting support with my findings. That led absolutely no where and they completely blew me off. Theres really nothing we can do unless they update this profile server side. Xfinity get it together!! It didnt take me long to debug and this is a simple fix!
Hoping posting on the forum brings some awareness to this issue.
You can verify your sim has registered ypy tp this apn by going to settings > connections > mobile networks > access point names > xfinity mobile. If your mcc is 311 and mnc is 480 youre in the effected group and the app will not install profiles. Tested this also by removingy sim (and keeping it removed) and then resetting my network settings. After this the app works fine until I reinsert my sim and it connects to the APN.
As mentioned this is only on the new version. Version 7.1.0 does not do this profile check.

I have been having this issue since activating a new Galaxy S22 Ultra on March 1st, and it's still exists. I checked and the mcc is 311 and mnc is 480.
I was posting about this issue a few months back because I was not able to connect to the secure XFINITY hotspot. I finally gave up because nothing had worked to resolve the issue and I had spent a lot of time trying to figure it out. As is noted in the thread you mention.
Today though, I was getting my hair cut and while there checked the WiFi connection and was amazed to see that for the first time in the 5 months since activating this phone, it was connected to the secure XFINITY hotspot. But the same error is still there about WiFI profile management being disabled. I was going to post an update in that thread, but found it was closed.
I know this was not working as of about 2 weeks ago because while I was out I had checked and was still only able to connect to the non-secure xfinitywifi hotspot, not the secure XFINITY hotspot. I also know it didn't work exactly 4 weeks ago, that was the last time I got a haircut and I checked then and could still only connect to the xfinitywifi hotspot. Today though, same location and it was connected to the XFINITY hotspot.
About 2 weeks ago a new update was pushed out for the OS, and several Android services were updated also. Not sure if any of those had an impact on this or not. I'll be checking when I'm out to see if I keep connecting to the XFINITY hotspot.
Not sure what has changed that made a difference, but I know I haven't changed anything at all on my phone, or my account, related to this issue in the last month.

Did you ever get any resolution on this? I am having this EXACT issue. We recently switched to Xfinity for home internet, and the secured Wifi profile worked fine.....until last night, when we officially switched our cell service to Xfinity. Ever since, we are only getting the "WiFi Profile Management has been disabled" error message. (And sure enough, our APN matches what you listed above).
Any word from Xfinity on an official fix?
