Why is my data for the billing period sudden much much higher than previous months?

Just looked at my online account and I’ve gone over the data limit on my mobile plan. I’ve never even come close to using 2GB per month. Haven’t changed any settings on phone or changed any usage habits.

Check the app data usage in your settings. It'll show which apps used data and how much. Some apps use background data unless disabled.
