Why Does Comcast Hate Poor People? What is their issue?
So, if you don't have great credit, Comcast will not sell you a phone or let you make payments. When I signed up for Internet I was told I could get a new cell phone and pay monthly. Now that I am signed up I am told my credit is not good enough and that there are no other options...no cosigner option like other carriers, and no cash discount or option period. I am trying to get the Galaxy Note 10 + and Comcast will not even sell me one for $1100 or the standard retail price. This is very sad since other companies are offering them for $800 with new cell phone service. What is Comcast's issue? They lost a customer, but obviously they do not care about that, per two calls with customer service. Very pathetic! I just disputed the charges of my recent bill for Internet and smashed their modem on the pavement in front of my apartment. I am switching to Wave Broadband...

If you are indeed a "poor" person and your credit isn't great why are you so upset with Comcast? Just because a salesperson mentions you can get a cell phone doesn't necessarily mean that you will qualify for one, and for an expensive one at that; the salesperson didn't guarantee you would get a cell phone. I fall well under the poverty level and, although I would love to have an expensive phone, I know my credit wouldn't let me buy one on time, and I certainly don't have the money to buy one outright.
As for "and smashed their modem on the pavement in front of my apartment", be prepared to pay for that modem if you were renting it and actually did this. You destroyed private property and Comcast will want restitution for it. And, if you're in a contract and break it, you'll end up paying early termination fees. If you can't afford it, then your account, along with the charge for the modem, will be turned over to a collection agency, which further dings your credit. Turns out it's a pretty expensive temper tantrum, which may, in the end, affect an account with Wave Broadband, too.
I get your frustration and anger, btw. It's probably directed more at your situation rather than at Comcast, though.
