Voicemail app on Samsung A70 not working

Hi,

My old Xfinity Mobile (XM) phone was a Samsung S7 and the voice mail worked on that phone. I recently bought a used XM Samsung A70 (XM software was already installed) and set it up on my account. Everything worked fine with the new phone except for voice mail.

 

I called my number from another phone and left a test voice message. On the A70 I use the Voicemail app that was preinstalled. The voicemail app just says "No new voicemails" and a button to "Call voicemail". No voicemails ever show up in the app. But if I use the call button then there are voicemails when calling.

 

How do I get the voicemail app to show my voicemails? The app doesn't seem to have any configuration settings or anything else so I'm not sure what to do. Thanks for any help.

You can do so by clicking on my name ComcastChrisL, which will direct you to my profile page and from there, click on the blue ‘send a message’ button.


In your reply, please include the following info required for account access and authentication; first and last name, complete service address, mobile number, and the last 4 digits of the card on file.


Once I authenticate the account, I'll do the needed research and reach back out.

Hi Chris,

My Samsung A70 was recalled and I am trying to get the A71 it was replaced with set up. I am having troubles with setting up Visual Voicemail. The Xfinity app will not work with the A71 and I am unsure which app to use. What do you recommend?

Could you help me with pairing an Apple Watch? I’ve had a lot of issues since I switched from my iPhone 8 to my iPhone se, it won’t let me set up cellular data on my Apple Watch now. I can’t see where I can send you a private message. Thank you
