Using Your Existing GMAIL Address On An Android Phone

I have an android mobile phone.

I entered my exising gmail address with its password.

I got a message saying gmail needed verification- and a message saying incorrect password.

Hours later,my gmail information was finally verfied-and my password was finally accepted.

Has any android mobile phone expereinced this?
