Transcript of Text Messages sent/received on line

Is it possible to get a transcript of all messages sent and received over a specific period of time on a line on my xfinity mobile account?  Not just a list of the dates/times and numbers, but the contents of the messages as well?  And if so, how do I make that request?

As it pertains to obtaining access to the content of the messages and phone calls, that entails a legal procedure in where a legal professional (usually a judge or lawyer) has to submit a request to the Comcast Legal Response Center.

The report below shows roughly how long each cellular carrier keeps text messages.

 

Verizon and thus XM only keeps the actual message for 3-5 days while most other carriers might only keep the message until it has been successfully received by the carrier supporting the number that the text was sent to.

Hello I am trying to get information on the steps needed to get a transcript of the Text Messages on my account. Please advise as to how i should proceed.

You are not likely to get a good answer on the XM forum as XM is an MVNO that uses the Verizon network. Even Verizon wireless is unlikely to have an answer for you as each text message is normally only stored, or on the carrier's server, until it has been successfully sent to and received by the receiving carrier's server. The receiving carrier's server normally only keeps the text message until it has been successfully sent and received by the receiving mobile phone. If that phone has been turned off the text message would be on their server until the phone is turned back on and receives the text message. Since all carriers have automated backup routines in place they may capture some text messages but it would be like finding a needle in a haystack. 

Your best bet is to Google for answers on the internet and ask how the FBI is able to sometimes find texts other than on the mobile devices themselves.
