My Caller ID Not Working

Hello, I have called directly to Xfinity who suggested I call Apple, Apple suggested I call Xfinity again. The fellow there tried to help me by resetting my phone and I still had the same problem. I called again, a nice woman on Xfinity said that there is no way to fix my name not showing up when I make a call. This is a bit of an emergency. I have a 92-year-old bedridden father and he won’t answer the phone because he doesn’t know who’s calling. Can’t my name be added to my caller ID? I don’t want it just to say wireless caller !

Does your father's phone have a contact list/phonebook feature? If so, add your name and number to it, and your name will appear when you call him.

Thanks for the tip! I already had put myself into my dad’s Contacts on his phone company but also found out from xfinity that they have no way to put our name on the caller I’d, it it’s always just gonna say wireless caller or unknown caller! Next I’ll actually look at my dad’s phone it’s self and see if there’s a way I can put my number in it! Thank you though!

It is amazing but Xfinity has done nothing to resolve this. With so many junk callers, it makes using Xfinity a big disadvantage. I wonder how many have dropped the service because of this.
