Mobile number
I’ve tried several times to change my number to my local area code. I moved and Xfinity does not have home service at my new address. Now I am charged an extra $20 a month because I can’t get internet at my new address. Ridiculous. It’s not my fault there is no Comcast in my area. I have made it to a tier 3 “expert” and they cannot give me a new number with my local area code. I am about to file a complaint with the BBB and whoever else I can. No reply to emails. Nothing. I would like to send the phone back and cancel service. Has anyone else had this issue?

Hi HILifeMaui808, thank you for reaching out through the Forum. I am sorry to hear you are having some trouble trying to get your phone number changed. My apologies for the experience you’ve been having this far, I would like to see what we can do to get this taken care of for you.
Can you please send me a private message with the following information; your first and last name, your full-service address for your old residential account, the last 4 digits of your credit card on file, your current mobile number, and finally, your current Zip Code? I will need the information to access your account in order to help get your number changed. I look forward to hearing from you.
