Minimum hold time 5 hours 29 minutes. What's that about?
I'm trying to activate an Xfinity Mobile account and the computer tells me the minimum hold time is 5 hours 29 minutes. What's that about? Is the office closed for the night? Why is it asking me to continue to hold? Will the hold time be more reasonable in the morning? Will it ever offer to call me back?

Same boat bud, trying to get phone's setup and surprise my girlfriend. Got our Phones and SIM's on wednesday. Went to the store and they said they were waiting for their associates to show up as if they are going to come work a 45 minute shift. soon before the close they argued over who had to tell us to leave and did so in a rude manner. They said they can't do anything for us and that either way we're going to end up on the phone waiting.
Okay, great.
We waited 4 hours and 20 minutes just to be told that we need number transfer Pins. Okay so why wasn't I informed and why in the bleep can I not re attempt to activate my device online?
Fast forward to today and we go through the same hassle and this time get the PIN's. Approximate hold time is between 20 hours and 31 hours!
I'm sorry but I am losing my patience. I have lost over $800 not being able to trade my stock positions as I do so at work and due to not being able to activate my phone, I am unable to access these. My mother gets married tomorrow and I am having a ridiculously hard time trying to communicate with her and still am unsure how we are going to arrive without any device with Cellular Data as She lives two hours away and is getting married even farther away. I am at the end of my rope. I am very strongly considering blowing this off, paying off the phone and taking my business somewhere else. The stores aren't helping and besides that, due to covid workers should be at home, so why is there such a ridiculous hold time if a majority of workers should be working from home? I've been restless from this and hope it gets resolved soon.

I just sat on hold for 1 and 1/2 hour and then got disconnected. So, so frustrating! And I never did get a human being on the line. Fed up!
