iphone upgrade to 14 SOS brick

Anyone find a way to fix the sos mode e-sim incompatible problem?

xfinity hasnt. rolling on 24 hours with an $1100 brick.  

old phone in sos

new phone on sos

e-sim incompatible 

app says it is "activating"

talked to multiple agents, had multiple "escalations"

how is this a thing?
