I have an iPhone six That I use with my mobile xfinity account . I have an unlocked iPhone 7 that I want to use. Can I take the SIM card out of my iPhone 6 and put it in the unlocked 7 and use it?..

The iPhone 7 needs to use QUALCOMM rather than the Intel modem to work on Verizon or Xfinity mobile. If it was purchased for use on AT&T or T-Mobile it probably will not work.
If you change the SIM and can make phone calls your 80% there. Since Verizon and therefore Xfinity mobile tie the SIM to the IMEI number of the device you need to call Xfinity mobile and have it changed it to a BYOD. For visual voicemail etc.
