iPhone 8plus wifi calling won't stay on

I recently switched from Verizon wireless to xfinity and brought my iphone 8 plus.

My wifi calling won't stay on.  I have spoken to 2 different xfinity technicians and also spoke

to an Apple representative who ran diagnostics on my phone,  which showed nothing wrong

with my phone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Since I live where there is limited cell signal, I need the wifi calling.......PLEASE HELP!

Thanks!

I am having the same issue with my iPhone 8plus. It is almost impossible to get a live agent on the phone without spending a significant amount of time on this. And no customer service on the weekend. I may be switching back to Verizon. I guess there is a reason why Xfinity is so much cheaper than other carriers.

If you have done all of the software updates to your phones and carrier resets/updates and so on, and are still having problems I think that it is time to look at your current WiFi Router. So I suggest the following:

1.) If you have an older router, or combined modem router, see if you can update the software/firmware. This might fix the problem. Probably not.

2.) Or better yet, it is probably time to get a newer router such as the TP-Link AC1900 for around $70 at Amazon. The newer routers are much better and can be hooked into your current Modem. They allow for many more devices to be linked at the same time and are less likely to be interfered with by other devices, walls, and appliances such as microwave ovens.

Having the same issue with my 12 pro.

Does your Wifi Calling setting say it's on when it stops working?
