So, I made a few follow up calls. It looks like they apparently did not processed my order initially. When I notified them, phone is out of stock. They created a tracking number showing my phone would be delivered by Sep 23! Now the agent says previous agents were lying about the order status and I would get the phone only by October 6, when the backorder is available. Thinking about porting out my 6 lines this week and terminating internet connection. I am better off with my 14 pro.
Here we are on Monday morning and while my account says a tracking number is available, FedEx has not received my phone. I am tempted to connect with XFinity via chat, but I think it will be entirely pointless. This whole experience can only be described as an omnishambles by XFinity and I really shocked by how such a large company, that generates immense amounts of revenue, can so hopelessly fail. Its almost like XFinity do not care about their brand. No wonder they are so resistant to competition. As soon as someone slightly competent turns up, they are roasted.
It takes a few hours from the time you get the tracking number until it shows up on FedEx's site but that's because FedEx needs time to update it. Xfinity has no control over that so yea, it would be pointless to start a chat with them.
I’ve had a tracking number for days and no shipment yet. It still shows it sitting with Xfinity and not in FedEx’s hands yet. However the other phone we ordered just minutes before mine arrived today and tracking numbers were sent within hours of each other Friday night. The phones are identical (15 Pro Max Blue 512) but it seems the shipments are in random order.
Well, well. FedEx finally told me that they picked up my Device and they expect to deliver it Wednesday. Had I known that on Friday, I would have shrugged my shoulders and thought "eh, a few days. no problem". The lack of coherent communication is what did me in.
I just hope that Fedex will actually give me a heads up on delivery date so I don't missed it and end up with more delays...so frustrating...good luck to us, lol
I signed up for FedEx Delivery Manager and it is very reliable. It gave me a 2 hour window and they were there in the first 30 minutes. Hoping my phone does the same and shows in their hands soon.

Yay! finally received my iPhone 15 pro max natural titanium today 9/27/2023. Got worried when I didn't received the device on 9/22 as indicated in the order details. Received the shipping tracking info on 9/23 but was stuck on "Label Created" for 2 days, it finally shipped on 9/25...so excited to have my new iPhone!
I started my activation last Thursday night as soon as I had my shipping info because it normally takes 3 days to port from Google Voice. This time it took 5 days though and the port finally went through last night. Glad I didn't wait, they must be having problems.
@user_1ff4c5 Yup. This particular cycle with iPhone 15 launch has been a meltdown on every aspect of their business in EPIC proportions. Completely abhorrent.
It depends where you port your number from. If you port it from another carrier like AT&T or T-Mobile, then it should only take a few hours at most, but if you port it from something like Google voice, which is a landline, then it takes three days or more. And that's not only Xfinity, it takes that long, no matter what carrier is porting it. All landline numbers take longer.

@user_rhg4e4 what did your delivery estimate say when you ordered? When I checked the estimates for delivery on September 21st the dates were anywhere from the end of September into December depending on which model, color, and storage you picked. If you chose one of the models in high demand it doesn't surprise me at all.
@user_rhg4e4 How is that their fault? They can only ship out what's available, and both the titanium natural and the white are sold out everywhere. You waited till the day before it was released to order, don't know why you're surprised there's a long wait.
I went to my Walmart this morning and asked, the guy said at least November for the titanium and they won't have the white in the foreseeable future. Then he called the store across town and they said the same thing.

I never received an email letting me know my phone was coming. FedEx came today and left me a door tag. I called fedex and they said I could come down to the warehouse and pick it up. I drove 30 miles away to pick it up only to find out that Xfinity requires 3 failed delivery attempts in order to be able to pick up your phone directly from fedex. This seems absurd and completely a waste of time. Anyone else have this issue with fedex?? I’m beyond frustrated
I pre ordered the 15 pro max white for my wife sept 15th. Credit card charged but no info on when phone would ship. 1 month later and still no info or updates. Xfinity has no clue. Did I just get scammed? Time to call the credit card company.

I received the email with tracking info on 9/23/2023 but it's now 9/25 and it still says "label created...it has not moved

Well finally got my iPhone Pro Max and now I'm back in number port "heck".....
I switched to Xfinity thinking that there customer service would be acceptable.
It's not, there is no reason that it take 2 plus days to port out a number from another carrier.
And every time I call them, I have to start from the beginning like they have never talked to me.
I wish I could go back in time and pick another carrier.
I'm so frustrated.

Xfinity is awful. Had no idea.
ordered September 21st, no one informed until today I MIGHT get my iphone15 ProMax by November or sometime in December. I’m not kidding.
