iPhone 13 Pro Max Preorder Still Not Shipped. Charged 4 Days Ago

We placed preorders for iPhone 13 Pro Max’s on 9/17 and received confirmation immediately after that our order would be available 9/24 and that our card would not be charged until the order shipped. On 9/23 our card was charged for one of the orders but we never received tracking information. 4 days later our order still has not shipped, we have not been notified of a delay, and Xfinity CS has proven to be useless and done nothing but lied.

Anyone who has been charged for a preorder but hasn’t yet received their order or tracking information really should be reaching out to their states AG and filing a formal complaint with the FTC. Even if it Xfinity did get shorted on the number of devices that they received they are still required by federal law to notify customers of a delay and seek consent from the customers that they are ok with the delay. The moment Xfinity charged your card on file, they created an expectation that your order was shipping.

We just had Xfinity state that they never charged our account and then change their story to "the charge got returned as insufficient funds" even after we showed screenshots of our bank account showing the charge that very clearly went through on 09/23/2021.

If you were charged and have not yet received shipping information for your order you may want to reach out to your bank. Xfinity is claiming to not have received the funds and running away with people's money.

@user_cedc52 I have a similar issue after placing an order with Xfinity for an iPhone 13. They authorized my account on the day I purchased the phone online. Yesterday on Sunday they charged me a second time for the phone that I purchased. So I look at my bank account and the second charge went through and the original charge is now pending. Basically what they did is authorized my account on the first day that I ordered and placed a completely separate authorization when they shipped it. So if I didn't have double the money I was supposed to in my account they would have received an insufficient funds as well. The problem seems to be that they used One authorization on the date purchased and a separate authorization on the day that was shipped. Today is Monday end of business and the pendings charge still sits there... not a happy Xfinity customer here either.

@user_cd5796 insufficient funds were not an issue at all, we had way more than would have been needed to cover 10+ attempts to charge our card. Our issue now is that Xfinity is claiming never to have charged us and refusing to refund the charge even though it’s clearly showed on our bank records that they successfully charged our card.
