I think I just got Phished
I got an email that I thought was from xfinity. It talked about trading in phones. It was from xfinity@emails.xfinity.com. The link in the email goes to https://www.xfinity.com/mobile/trade-in/check-condition. In order to be to give a value of my phone, one thing it asked for was the IMEI number of my mobile phone. Stupidly, I was fooled and gave it to them. When I got an error message after entering the number, I got suspicious (I should have been suspicious before). I then googled xfinity@emails.xfinity.com and google said it was a phishing email. Now I am very concerned that my phone will get hacked or something else bad will happen because I stupidly gave them that number. What if anything can I do?
