E-mail from domain imap.comcast.net not displayed on iphone 10
About a week ago all of my old e-mails from my comcast account disappeared from my iphone 10. I have:
Installed all iphone updates
Changed my password
Updated password on my iphone
New messages are displayed but, once read, they disappear from my inbox. I always use these to refer back to and would like them to be displayed. What do I need to do?

Log into your Comcast.net mail on a computer or from a browser and check your settings there? Are you deleting email on another device? You may have set up your email to automatically delete from the Comcast.net server when you download email to a computer?

unfortunately i have added and deleted comcast email at least 10 times. they still vanish. think i will try going back to POP instead of imap

I suggest that you look at your settings on Xfinity.
Go to connect.infinity.com OR just Xfinity.com and choose the mail icon
Once logged into your mail account:
1.) Go to settings (the gear wheel located top right)
2.) Choose Email Settings
3.) Choose Advanced Settings
4.) Under POP make sure Keep is selected
5.) Check all other security and settings.
