Data usage tripled in one week, clearly an error.

I rarely even come close to hitting my data limit, and yet somehow in the past five days my phone has suddenly used all 3GB of my data plan, despite being on wifi most of that time. There is no way that this is accurate. I want to see a breakdown of my usage and I want a refund for this bogus charge. If this continues I'm going to have to find a new phone carrier.

Hello @user_d03b37, thanks for reaching out for help with your phone's data plan. I appreciate you taking time out of your day and want to ensure you’re able to get in touch with an awesome Xfinity Mobile expert to help get this resolved. Due to account security, our options with Xfinity Mobile accounts are very limited. We're unable to perform any device or account specific requests over this platform. Have you tried calling or texting 1 (888) 936-4968, or reached out to our secure online chat at xfinity.com/xfinityassistant/?channel=xMobile where an Xfinity Mobile expert is available 24/7?

Just wondering if you ever got any resolution with this. The same thing happened to my 80 year old father who only uses wifi and doesn't even know how to turn it off! He rarely even uses his phone for anything other than a phone!

Your best bet is to contact our mobile department. Rest assured, you're in good hands with them, I do have to apologize, our team here does not have access to Xfinity Mobile accounts, due to account security measures. Thank you!
