Comcast pulls a hard inquiry, FYI

Just wanted to warn everyone that Comcast does do a hard pull on your credit. Just to have internet it affects your credit score. Very lame.

 

Also, Comcast/Xfinity will raise the price every year, but there's not much you can do about it cause its the only decent internet option - at least here in Portland, OR.

Yup. Not even just for new customers. I get ones for new lines of service even though I've had service with them for years. They've never told me they were going to do it either. I just find it on my credit score when I look later. Real classy.
