Can i use my friends Cell phone with my SIM

Me and my friends both are long time xfinity mobile customers. He recently bought a IPhone 12 mini and i would like to try that out for some time.  Can i take his phone and put my xfinity mobile SIM into it without any issues ?

If there are any issues, can those be sorted out ?
