$300 rebate SCAM

We never received our rebate and my husband has spent over 3 hours on the phone with your useless customer service representatives. It has been confirmed multiple times that we are owed the $300 and that it has not yet been mailed, but nobody will do anything about it. It's been almost 6 months. We've been assured numerous times by customer service representatives that they will be emailing us and we have not received a single email. Either Xfinity mobile has most incompetent and lazy customer service representatives ever, or they are running a scam. My guess is the latter. I will be reporting Xfinity to the BBB and leaving similar reviews online. The amount of time we've wasted trying to deal with Xfinity is ridiculous. At the very least, be honest if you don't intend on paying your customers the money you owe them, instead of making them waste time jumping through hoops trying to get it. We will be canceling all of our Xfinity services next month and moving to Direct TV.

Same situation here. currently on the phone w xfinity.  promised $200 for switching to xfinity from at&t.  and additional $300 gift card.  The sales person, Greg [Edited: "Personal Information"], promised these gift cards while I was moving my internet to a new address.  I upgraded to gig internet and switched carriers for nothing.  Using false sales tactics to get customers.  Such  a SCAM.  And the customer service reps just give you the run around with no answers.

Same here. I’ve been waiting since June 2021. It’s a shame dealing with a company that turns out to be a bunch [Edit: Inflammatory] with it’s customers. I’ve been a Comcast customer on and off for over 30yrs and this will absolutely be the last time.

Hi, @user_cygnusx2, I'm sorry you've had such a hard time and have been dealing with this rebate concern for so long. We never want this to be the case for anyone, or to make anyone feel like they can't trust us. I'd love a chance to work with you and make things right. 30yrs is a very impressive run to be with any company, so thank you for making us part of your home over the years. I'd like to first review your account and the details of the rebate in question, from there we can work on the next steps. In order to get started can you please send a direct message to Xfinity Support with your full name and full address by clicking the chat icon in the top right?

Same here, I'm still waiting.  I called, went to the Xfinity store, got a ticket, the problem was supposed to be solved in 4 to 5 days after my visit to the Xfinity store, but nothing happened.  I called again, and was told I would be called back, still nothing.

At this point I'm thinking of calling my local TV station to have them to an expose on why folks are not getting their rebates.  I am so aggravated over this.

@user_95c89d I even reported it to BBB.  Someone from comcast called me and told me that I was only getting one promotion because I upgraded my broken phone. Never once did they say that I couldn't upgrade my phone.  It was broken and useless.  I kept the same number and plan.  Figures I spend over $1000 on a new phone that I bought from xfinity and they find a way to [Edited: "Language"] with some [Edited: "Language"].  Anyway I only got 1 card when I was promised 2

$300 Rebate Scam

I switched my internet, cable, and cellular service to Xfinity/Comcast at the end of last year and was told I would be receiving the rebate after 3 months of service..... still no rebate! I also asked about and was told that there was no service connection charge, meanwhile a month later I received a $100 fee on my 1st month bill (I'm a Veteran and wanted to pay it up front to prevent getting a $300 + bill at once). To be fair, customer service rep did give me a $50 credit once I called to inquire about the charge and explain what I was told. Back to the rebate, after not receiving it, I called and they didn't even have a record of my being due one so they had to start a claim and told me to call back in 7-14 business days, putting it on March 30th. On that day, they told me to call back on Apr 8th, and on today, Apr 12th, they told me it would take (another) 7-14 business days. I was also told that I can't leave and go back to Direct TV without buying out the contract I have with them. So I have to honor MY contract but they don't......got it.

Same here! They have scammed me out of 3 Gift cards and refusing to send them. They are now saying there is nothing they will do and just said sorry our agents lied to you. I was told multiple times when I first got the lines and even two weeks ago that I would get them and now nothing but rudeness!

@XfinityJosephB

You are correct. However, the number(s) you posted are for CELLULAR SERVICE ONLY. Even though I had already spoken with them, I called them (again) on today, Apr 15th, just to verify that they were NOT the correct department. The lovely rep did look at my account and tell me that it looked as though it was processing and try the number for the reward's center back in 7-14 days (sound familiar to anyone?) So for future reference, when replying to complaints about missing rewards/prepaid visa cards, the correct number is 1 (800) 526-3268.
