Xfinity xFi app complications

When I sign in to the xFi app it says "Access not Authorized
You signed in successfully, but you must be an Xfinity user to enjoy this service." I've called the customer service numbers and it's just a robot which can't help with the specific problem. I cannot set up my wifi without logging in to the xFi app.

My issue was resolved. I had an old Comcast account that was linked to my new Xfinity account, and the old account was marked as primary when I tried logging in. So the XFi app didn't think I had internet service. I changed the primary account to my new Xfinity account and now I can use the Xfi app. Hope this helps anyone else.
