Xfinity App Showing Modem Offline despite having Internet (via personally owned device)
I had to swap out an xfinity gateway for a personally owned Netgear Modem/Router. Xfinity customer service had to manually make this swap for me as the QR code was not working on the new Netgear device. My Netgear device shows complete connectivity and internet appears to be working fine through the device; however, my Xfinity App is showing that my modem is offline (which I don't believe it is). I have read several other instances of this happening for customers who swapped out their devices like I did. I have tried manual reboots of the modem/router and reinstallation of the Xfinity app, but nothing is fixing the app issue. Can someone please provide a resolution for this?
